GAMBLING in the GOLDRUSH DAYS!

NO SLOT MACHINES . . . . just POKER, ROULETTE & CRAPS!

MINING BOOMTOWNS!

Where ever a boom town was, it grew in the same way. The saloon keepers came first, then the ladies filling the dance halls, gambling halls and bawdy houses. Last came the merchants. The towns only existed to support the miners needs. The merchants actually became richer than most of the miners. The saloons and the gambling houses made big profits by providing much of the entertainment for the miners. The miners not only had to be lucky when looking for the gold, they had to be lucky in the saloons and gambling houses as well.

It was 45 years before the first mechanical slot machine showed up. It was called the Liberty Bell, which was invented in 1895 by car mechanic Charles Fey of San Francisco. It was similar to the one shown at the right, except it only had three spinning reels. Diamond, spade, and heart symbols were painted around each reel, plus the image of a cracked Liberty Bell. A spin resulting in three Liberty Bells in a row gave the biggest payoff, a grand total of fifty cents or ten nickels. The original Liberty Bell slot machine can still be seen be at the Liberty Belle Saloon & Restaurant in Reno, Nevada.

Todays slot machines are of the electronic age, rather than a mechanical machine as in the early days. The ones you see here are a good example of what you will see in casinos today. My wife and I have spent a lot of time in Las Vegas over the last five years, and we enjoy spending time at the casinos. I retired after a 35 year career as a manufacturing engineer, much of it in the aerospace industry. I enjoyed recreational gold prospecting for more than a quarter of a century throughout California. My engineering mind just had to thoroughly understand the placer mining equipment that is used, and I designed and built much of it for my own use. Given the time to spend in the casinos, and the fascination of how the machines work, it was only natural that I would have to research and understand them. However first, being in a hurry I bought information on how to play, from some who turned out to know absolutely nothing. There are many scams out there. Then I decided to learn how the machines work, which would let me understand for myself how to play them.

To start with, if anyone wants to sell you a system that identifies when a machine is ready to pay out . . . . LAUGH, TURN and WALK AWAY FAST! And if they have a system that the Casinos don't want you know about, offer to trade some ocean front property in Arizona for a copy of it.

The Casinos operate basically on a 98% payback, based over a period of time. In other words they will make 2% more than they lose. There will be winners and losers. The losers will lose more than the winners will win, and the casino doesn't care who loses, who wins, or how much you win or lose. The bottom line is don't try to beat the Casino, or the machine. Just learn how to play, be one of the winners, and beat the losers. Believe me, nothing else will work.

What I have written is exactly how my wife and I have managed to be winners over the last two years. Don't get me wrong, we do not play to provide an income. We play for our entertainment, and it is only entertaining when you win. In 2007 we ended all months except one month with more wins than losses. In 2008 however, we were showing a small loss for five of the first six months. That is when we really had to learn how the machines work, and how to play them. We did that, and have not had a losing month since then. Even the first week of 2009 shows a positive amount, and believe me in today's economy the casino's machines are very tight.

THE GOLD MINER'S SLOT MACHINE PLAY
e'book explains the tight and loose condition of the machines. It also explains exactly how the machines work. Knowing how they work, and using the PLAY STRATEGY, you will become one of the winners. We used the PLAY STRATEGY over the last six months, and it works.

So in the winter months, or for an occasional break anytime, spend a weekend in Las Vegas, Reno, or an Indian Casino near you. Have a great time and be ONE OF THE WINNERS!
